Fire Whips Testings.

Tonight, my fire whip prototype was burned, and I ended up learning quite a bit on how to improve it. While were here I’d like to thank “Rufus” for testing out my creation.

Sorry to kill everyone dreams but I don’t believe I will be selling these anytime soon, but I not totally heartless, so here are the pictures…….

We have moved….kinda

If you haven’t noticed, metrowhips.com now redirects to an eCommerce site.
It is still being worked on, and more items will be added over the next 2 weeks till everything has been moved.
The blog will still be up like I said before, but all ordering will be handled through http://metrowhips.3dcartstores.com/

We are moving

Today marks the start of the change in hosting for Metowhips.com. It is being moved to a eCommerce site to better facilitate traffic and orders. The Metro Whips blog will still exsist but it will be more news orientated then anything ells.

The prices on Bullwhips and Snake whips will be changing from “by-the-foot” pricing as it does not reflect the actual cost and time to produce each whip.  The new pricing will be listed on the blog shortly. I am still offering the old pricing up until the 1st of May, just email me and mention this post.

Now offering Cowwhips

Cow Whip

Metro Whips is proud to announce that we are now offering Nylon Cow Whips.

These thong of these whips have a single belly with a 12 Plait overlay ending in a twist with a replaceable fall, and is detachable from the handle.

This style of Cow Whip is offend referred to as a Pipe Whip for the fact that the handle is made out of Pvc Pipe.
For the time being only solid gray unpainted handle are available (they are stripped of any printing and cleaned). In the future, painted handle may be offered. The standard handle length is 18″ but can be made longer or shorter on request.

Pricing can be found Here.

“The Thin Blue Line” Bracelets

In memory of our Boys in Blue, I made up a few honorary parachute cord bracelets. Since Lexington Kentucky recently lost a officer, I sent a couple of them to my sister, a 911 operator, and my brother-in-law, a Lexington police officer.

Juggling Things Around

I will be attending the Ann Arbor Juggling Arts Festival at the Wide World Sports Center in none other then Ann Arbor, Michigan. I will have several samples with me for anyone to come and try. There will also be juggling related game, work shops, and lessons for those who want to learn to juggle, or wish to learn something new. Admission is $1 per person. Directions and all other information can be found by clicking the links above.

And also, as you may or may not know, June 18th is World Juggling Day. Just a good old day where jugglers, all kinds get out and do there thing.

Held the day after on the 19th of June is the Monroe juggling club’s world juggling day gathering in Monroe, Michigan. I will be attending and will again have a few samples. Click on the link above for a Google map.

You don’t need to know how to juggle to attend, alot of people do other stuff, such as unicycling and other unique things. I myself can’t actually juggle that well but have been an avid unicyclist since I was 6.

I’d love to meet you all at these events, I’ll be the one making all the noise =P

Stock Whip Experiment

I decided yesterday to try my hand again at making a stock whip, tho its not my first, it is by far my best.  The thong is 12 plait with a 5 plait waxed keeper ending in a twisted fall. The handle is 12 plait over a piece of bamboo I had laying around. I plan on using fiberglass handles in my future stock whips.

I’m hopping that I will be able to start offering stock whips sometime later this summer, once I’ve done a few more tests.
